The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has released the overall combat losses of the Russian army during the war in Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to April 8, 2023.
The announcement by the AFU General Staff was published on
Facebook, and it states that the estimated overall combat losses of the enemy
during this period are as follows:
· Personnel - approximately 177,680 (+570) people eliminated
· Tanks - 3,636 (+3)
· Armored combat vehicles - 7,020 (+4)
· Artillery systems - 2,727 (+5)
· Multiple rocket launchers - 533
· Anti-aircraft defense systems - 282 (+1)
· Aircraft - 307 (+1)
· Helicopters - 292 (+0)
· Tactical unmanned aerial vehicles - 2,298 (+7)
· Cruise missiles - 911 (+0)
· Ships/boats - 18 (+0)
· Automotive and fuel trucks - 5,599 (+12)
· Specialized equipment - 304 (+0).
As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense believes that the
losses of the Russians are several times higher than those of the Ukrainian
army.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of
Ukraine, the occupiers are preparing to evacuate residents of the Kherson and
Zaporizhzhia regions to annex Crimea.
